Did you want that custom Kingdom Hearts PS4 Pro? Shame about that!
- Fortnite is no longer going to have blind draw lootboxes. Fortnite: Save The World that is, not the battle royale version that makes the money. Once patch 7.3 goes live Upgrade Llamas, which are the 50 VBuck lootboxes, will become X-Ray Llamas, 50 VBuck lootboxes that will show you what you are getting before you buy it.
- PUBG Lite is finally available for download and beta testing. If you don't know what PUBG Lite is that's fine because it's only available in Thailand and it's exactly the same as PUBG, but free and worse. The game has a different development team within Bluehole and it's designed to run on low-end PCs for uses like Internet cafes.
- According to internal documents, Facebook has been aware for a very long time that it's real easy for kids to spend their parents money on the site. The issue, which Facebook has dubbed Friendly Fraud, occurs when a parent authorises a 1-time purchase, but Facebook retains credit card information, making it so a child can continue to make purchases without the parents knowing.
- GameStop have cancelled an unknown number of preorders for the Kingdom Hearts 3 special edition PS4 Pro because they oversold their allocation. Anecdotal reports from Twitter show that people who ordered immediately back in December are still among those having their orders cancelled; even some people who traded in their PS4 toward the new system, meaning now they don't have any PS4, that they no longer have a system that had more value in their hands than the value that GameStop is refunding them. They do get a $25 online credit as an apology.
Nintendo announced that they are starting over from scratch on Metroid Prime 4.
