So... I think Graham or Kathleen, possibly both, said that they weren't eager to have Penelope have a page on the LoadingReadyRun Wiki. Now, normal Wikipedia doesn't care what factual details a person WANTS on their wiki page. It only cares that it's true, relevant, reliable and reasonably neutral.

But we're not Real Wikipedia.

So... what is the criteria for adding information to a person's information included on a person's LRR wiki page? What can be included?

1. If it's something that was mentioned in a public forum, video on Youtube or tweet, that is generally fair game. Morgan said his mum was British in the Whatever Thing episode One of Us Has to Change. That's information that can be added to the wiki, and it's not likely to ever cause harm.

2. If something is known from the source itself and the party is OK with it going on the wiki, this is also fine. Most of the article from Ben Wilkinson was from an in-person interview King Kool did with him at DB5, because he was tired of his article being so small.

The unspoken rule has always been, as far as content that isn't outright talked about during streams or videos... it's mostly up to the person's discretion if they want it on the wiki. The wiki isn't the Library of Alexandria where everything must be preserved. It's a huge pile of trivia.

The userpages of all users, the pages that start with "User:", are essentially the domain of that user and should not be edited without the wiki editor's consent. Not that this is ever likely to happen.

We've come to the nub of the issue here: consent. All the information on the LRR Wiki is given out voluntarily. Their participation in LRR videos and streams and whatnot is all by choice.

Penelope doesn't have the choice to participate yet. She comes to the Moonbase because she's being cared for by her parents. Her appearances is generally incidental. She also isn't yet able to make a decision on how she chooses to appear on the Internet.

(There may be a Crapshot where she appeared as an infant, as Calvin Sevenhuysen did in The Bee Team. As I write this, I forget, and I don't think appearing as a tiny sleeping baby will cause Calvin or Penenlope embarrassment later in life unless they focused on their poopies or did something else infantilizing like Kathie Lee Gifford did when she was on Live with Regis and Kathie Lee in the early nineties, gushing about her then-infant son Cody, who I just looked up, and he's now twenty-seven. But I'm getting sidetracked.)

Penelope Stark is the first person to appear in several videos who is not an adult. Even at their youngest and most baby-faced, Graham and Paul were adults when they started LoadingReadyRun. Even Kate, the youngest contributor at the beginning of LRR, was a teenager, old enough to know how she wanted to participate.

There could be an argument made that says, "what if Graham and Kathleen wanted to see video of Penelope while she was growing up, and we can keep track of her early appearances that way?" I'm not going to rule on that in particular, and leave that for her parents to answer. Nevertheless, I don't think her two parents who work in videography are going to be hurting for home movies, especially in the era of the iPhone.

My conclusion is: until Penelope is old enough to decide if and how she wants to contribute to LoadingReadyRun, she is not a contributor, and we should not make a page for her outside of the basic stub I wrote for her.
