Talk:Feed Dumps Sorted by Host
Here is an idea: make the numbers links to the video pages. Also this could grow unwieldy as the number of 'guest' hosts grows. Lord Chrusher 02:33, 23 February 2012 (PST)
Working on linking numbers to video pages. It's already unweildy. I'm going to add commented lines for each table cell indicating which co-host was present. --MadAlric 01:34, 25 February 2012 (PST)
Edited the code so that adding future hosts will be easier, and changed all of the numbers to links. I haven't double-checked my work, so some links may be incorrect.--MadAlric 03:31, 25 February 2012 (PST)
Should Graham be included in the table, or should we only add him if he isn't present for a Dump? --MadAlric 14:08, 18 April 2012 (PDT)
Has he ever not been present? I don't think he needs to be added, we can just assume he's in there. Mtijn 12:20, 29 May 2012 (PDT)
- If Graham ever were to not appear in a Feed Dump, it should be noted as an exception. Including him in the table would just bloat it unnecessarily. --jello ¿? 03:05, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
With the current episode only starring Graham & Kathleen, it's kind of hard to put Kathleen into the table. Just a note like for Ep.40 or put the link into the grey Kathleen/Kathleen field? --jello ¿? 03:05, 23 June 2012 (PDT)
- I'd put her in the Kathleen/Kathleen field. It's conceivable that more people could host by themselves in the future, and putting them in the box with themselves seems like an easy way to indicate that. AlexanderDitto (talk) 19:49, 24 June 2012 (PDT)
Perhaps we should change the table to be hosts on one side and episodes on another. I'll throw together an example here:
# | Title | Alex | Andy | Ash | Brad | Cam | Graham | James | Jer | Johnny | Kate | Kathleen | LeeLee | Marc | Matt | Missie | Morgan | Paul | Tally |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Tigers and Sheep | Yes | Yes | Yes | |||||||||||||||
2 | Mullet Bandit & The Blondes | Yes | Yes | Yes | |||||||||||||||
3 | Smoking Carrots in New Zealand | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Doing it this way allows us to make in-table notes about short appearances and fixes the single co-host and no-Graham contingencies gracefully. It'll just be a little time-consuming moving the data over to this format. This also doesn't mean that we have to get rid of the other table. They can co-exist, because they fulfill slightly different purposes.
