Synopsis

On the way to 2007's Festival at Nanaimo, LRR splits into two teams, battling to accomplish three tasks chosen by the opposing team.

Duncan Challenge

Team Matt's Car: Each member of the team must be filmed licking a totem pole.

Team Honda Cervix: Form a human totem pole and convince a passing person to pose for a picture.

Chemainus Challenge

Matt's Car: Mural-based Interpretative Dance-off.

Honda Cervix: Find ten people and ask them to rhyme a word with 'Chemanius'.

Ladysmith Challenge

Matt's Car: In honor of 49th Parallel Day (see Trivia), compose a human 49th Parallel line with ten people.

Honda Cervix: A Synchronized Fancy Walking routine that lasts at least one minute, thirty seconds.

At the Vancouver Island Short Film Festival, LoadingReadyRun wins "Best Writing" for How to Talk like a Pirate.

Trivia

  • The many, many subtitles for this video came from suggestions on the forum.
    • 'Vengeance' is misspelled, though.
  • The sound files that play during the Missions are from the Metal Slug series.
  • "Forward momentum!" is a reference to the Miles Vorkosigan series.
  • "Fancy walking" is an in-joke among Kathleen's friends previously featured in Job Hunt.
    • The music in this video was previously used for fancy walking as well.
  • Graham totally made up "49th Parallel Day".
  • The music originally intended to play with the fancy walking routine is "Itch U Can't Scratch" by Junior Senior. This could not be included for copyright reasons.
