<<< Is Paul's Boyfriend Cheating? AskLRR     Morning...Or Week After AskLRR >>>

AskLRR Answers

Q: What instruments did you guys play and do you still play any now?

A:

  Everyone: Recorder(Grade 4),
Graham: Trombone (Grade 6-8) then off to drama
Paul: Flute (Grade 6-10) and Piccolo (Briefly)
James: Clarinet (Grade 6-9) as did Jer who sat beside me, he also played an
  Ocarina
Bill: Recorder (Grade 2-4), Bass Clarinet until I got Alto Sax, Tenor Sax (till
grade 7) and Trumpet then off to drama
Matt: Ukulele (Grade 6-8), Alto Sax - poorly (Grade 9-11)
  Morgan: Recorder (3 days)

Q: Is Paul's Boyfriend actually cheating on him?

A:

He doesn't actually have one, but saying he does drags the stupid girls out from
  the depths of MySpace.

Q: Which do you prefer: 140 or heavier, 139 or lighter?

A:

We are going to assume they are talking about the weight of women, and we are all
attracted to women from both sides.

Q: Who is single, aside from Matt?

A:

Matt: Wow, is it that obvious? --- "Yes you bitch about it constantly" -
Morgan, Paul and Bill are single.

Q: What kind of music do you guys listen to? Are there any closet metal heads among you?

A:

Graham: I listen to everything, big fan of hip hop, recently listening to Lady
Sovereign's "Public Warning" (wouldn't classify self as metal head).
James: I listen to everything too (wouldn't classify self as metal head).
Bill: I like good metal, but the definition of metal is so broad. I listen to
everything especially Refused's "The Shape of Punk to Come".
Paul: The latest Whatever Thing has a lot of good music in it... Tenacious D
  considers themselves metal.
Morgan: I've been listening to a lot of the Stones' "Some Girls" which my dad got
  me into.
Matt: Kathleen and Jeremy basically give me/recommend all of my music, whose
tastes are largely derived from "Pitchfork Media". I also listen to anything I've
downloaded for Kate when she begs me to download something for her.

Q: Is Graham planning to get his goatee back?

A:

No, because Kathleen likes him shaved.

Q: What are you guys looking forward to in the future?

A:

Money, my vacation, having more future, food.

Q: If FOX hired you guys to make comedy things and offered $500 000.00 per episode but forced you to do what they want would you take the offer?

A:

Yes! Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. Bill: "No, I'd kick them in the balls."

Q: Who's the hugest geek out of all of you?

A:

  Bill by sheer mass.

Q: Who pwns more face in DotA?

A:

Adam then Bill then pretty well a four way tie. Ben maybe, Matt's pretty good,
James isn't bad, Morgan's a noob most of the time.

Q: Have you guys ever gotten so addicted to a game that you spent more than three days playing it nonstop with no sleep?

A:

Some of us have stayed up for three days, but we've never played a game for
anywhere close to that long. Bill holds the record with two days spent playing
  Counter Strike: Source.

Q: Are you guys planning on making another Billy Tourist thing? Cause if you are I think that'd be the worst possible thing that you guys could think of cause that guy's an ass.

A:

It's possible. Adam's actually a pretty cool guy, and that wasn't really a
  question.

Q: Is Morgan ever planning on shaving his beard?

A:

He already has and now it's grown back.

Q: What are your current jobs?

A:

Graham: I work at a start up software company.
  Morgan: Rogers Cell Phones.
  Paul: Web developer, independent.
Matt: I work at EB, hopefully not much longer.
Bill: I work at UVic's kitchen.
James: I work for my dad who sells drapes and blinds.

Q: Do you guys actually do last minute Christmas shopping?

A:

Yes... Morgan did all of his Christmas shopping in 10 minutes on the 23rd.

Q: Who is the smartest out of all you guys?

A:

Me, me, me... We'll go with Paul, first to graduate. Paul: "Wow you guys
  actually agree with me?"

Q: Why does Bill hate his true name?

A:

  Cause it's kinda lame.

Q: If you guys could have different names what would they be?

A:

Morgan: Will, to make fun of Bill.
  Paul: Bruce Lee
  Graham: Bruce Campbell
Bill: Mog or Trogdor, Conan, Abraham Lincoln

Q: If you guys could be Asian would you?

A:

  What? No, fuck no goddammit.

Q: What is your favorite game made before the 21st century?

A:

Super Metroid (Matt), FF7 (Graham), I can't choose just one.

Q: Are you guys actually planning to have a fan chat with teamspeak or something?

A:

People keep suggesting this and all of the people who keep suggesting it are not
us. If someone wants to set up a server for VENT (Ventrillo) we might log on.
If someone else wants to set it up and all we have to do is show up and be there,
then sure, we'll happily do that.

Q: Any pets?

A:

  Currently no.

Q: Is Bill's first name Ferdinand, Fredrick or Leslie?

A:

No, but Leslie would be pretty bad.

Q: When will LRR do a Star Trek parody?

A:

It's entirely possible that we will do a Star Trek parody. We also do like
Picard better for being a better Captain, while Kirk does have the awesomeness
factor. James also agrees that if you are in the vicinity of Kirk's ship and not
wearing a red shirt you are invisible.

Q: Don't you hate pants?

A:

No, we're ok with pants. Some of us love them but no one really hates them. Morgan is
  "not keen" on them.

Q: Is there actually going to be a Whatever thing for this week or did it get canceled for the holidays?

A:

It got canceled because of the holidays.

Q: Which is better: winter or summer?

A:

  Matt: Winter, hockey
  James: Winter
Graham: I like winter because it's less sweaty but summer has more time to shoot
  during the day.
Bill: I like spring, with which Paul agrees.

Q: Was James mad about the Tennis incident?

A:

  No, it was his idea.

Q: Was James sore by the Tennis incident?

A:

  Probably a little bit.

Q: Was James mad and sore about the tennis incident?

A:

  Possibly no.

Q: Why does the thought of grade one bring back unpleasant memories (for Graham)?

A:

I was just a big nerd in grades one through eight.

Q: Have you guys wanted a mutant power? If so, what?

A:

Graham: To be able to, accompanied by humorous sound effects, levitate slowly
five feet in the air straight up, in one frame snap sideways so that you're
parallel to the ground and slowly drift away.
Bill: If you have Nightcrawler's powers of teleportation you have the best of
everything. You are the fastest thing alive cause you can constantly short range
teleport, you can be the fastest thing alive and you can be invincible because
  you can avoid anything.
  Morgan: Invisibility, obvious reasons.
Paul: Perfect photographic memory, live forever, invincibility.
Matt: Impervious to pain and heal quickly.

Q: How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop?

A:

I don't know, ask Mr. Owl.

Q: If you were a girl who would you date out of the cast members?

A:

  Ourselves.

Q: Why is Matt the only one of you with a license to Kill/Drive?

A:

  Cause we're all lazy assholes.

Q: Is Matt really James Bond?

A:

No, we have been lying to you all along.

Q: Have you ever played a game that you beat in one day?

A:

Yes like Super Metroid, there's lots of games you just rent and beat.

Q: What is the longest game you've ever played?

A:

MMO's don't really ever end. Chrono Trigger is a great example, Bill played it
  for about 150 hours.

Q: What are some of your best respective performances and what performances do you think are your individual worst?

A:

Graham: I guess I would consider my best performance to be PWN'D
because I've had people who thought that that was real and thought that you
guys were actually telling me that Paul was dead and that was my actual
  reaction.
Bill: My worst performance was definitely in the Twelve Days of Christmas where
I was sooo hung over. They rolled me out of bed and
told me to say eight player Halo with no metronome. I liked Small Time, but my
best performance was in Bill's Revenge.
Morgan: I didn't like my performance in Serious Cravings.
I wasn't really bad but everyone else did such better performances and it makes
  me feel kind of bad.
Matt: My least favorite was in CCYD, I wish I could edit myself out of
that video. It makes me sad whenever I see that video.
James: I agree with Morgan in that any performance I see myself in I see things
I could have done better. I also really liked my reaction in Pimp My Chair.
Paul: I really liked my performance in Wyy. I like it because it took
me forever to get those lines.

Q: Why is the archive for The Whatever Thing at an URL for Mondays?

A:

The Whatever Thing was going to be a every Monday Thing, but Paul suggested not
calling it a Monday Thing because that would tie it down to a day and good
call. Best suggestion ever. But by this time Paul had already built the
database system and was too lazy to do a find-replace to change the name. (As
of April 2007, the archive is still located at a Mondays URL).
