Synopsis

The latest in a long line of directors brings his overly grand sense of scale to a project that, frankly, probably doesn't warrant it.

Trivia

  • True to the game, the Desert Bus movie is described as being seven hours long with no lines of dialogue and being entirely from the point of view of the driver's seat of a bus. The film's script itself appears to consist of only one line repeated over and over: "The Bus steers to the left".
  • Two posters for previous "Desert Bus" movies appear in this video, one of which directed by Terry Gilliam of Monty Python fame and the other by Stanley Kubrick.
  • Edward James Olmos's name can be seen as part of the cast list on both movie posters.
  • The video ends with the official credits for Desert Bus for Hope 4, crediting all of the crewmembers and volunteers involved while showing various recordings of challenges that took place that year.
