Synopsis

Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition has received criticism for "dumbing down" some key aspects of gameplay, but Scott Rouse and Mike Mearls confirm that this was not their intention; Wizards of the Coast intend to dumb down all aspects of gameplay.

Trivia

  • Derek Hand (known in the forum as Tensen01) previously contributed artwork to Dinosaur.
  • The Cthulhu plushie in the classroom scene is entirely out of place in Dungeons and Dragons. This may be an oblique reference to D-fer Madness's extra scene.
  • D&D monsters referenced include the Gelatinous Cube, Carrion Crawler, Mind Flayer, Invisible Stalker, and a Deva, a form of Celestial.
  • In the brief kitchen scene, where the gelatin is placed on a counter, a sign can be seen on the wall that reads "This is a bagel free kitchen" with the logo from Bagel Time, as a reference to Paul's statistical analysis from that video.
