Synopsis

Alex and Cam arrive at the Moonbase one morning to prepare to stream a Let's Nope. However, they find Paul and Beej in the streaming office, "fixing things." Paul has decided that the streaming office has had heavy enough use by this time that it is deserving of a tune-up so that it can remain functional in the long term. However, when they finish, Paul and Beej realize that they are not satisfied with just returning the streaming rig to top shape and resolve to find some way to improve it. They decide to try to tackle the 20-second delay between the streamers and the Twitch chat.

When Cam and Alex return, they discover that Paul has found a way to manipulate time so that the stream itself is 20 seconds ahead of what happens in the streaming office, which Paul demonstrates when the monitor shows Beej yelping before Beej's yelp can be heard from the next room. Cam and Alex are understandably concerned, and their doubts are validated when Beej hears himself pointing out his own mistake on the monitor before he actually makes the mistake, almost violating causality and tearing apart the fabric of the universe.

The stinger shows Cam and Alex streaming despite their concern and contending with hearing themselves react to upcoming jump scares from the monitor through the wall.

Trivia

  • Production error - the sign on the exercise bike appears and disappears across different outside shots.
