- In the LRRcast for 2013-04-05 Graham explained that the title was meant to be "The Couch Mall Network" (or possibly something else, but he couldn't remember), but since "CMN" was the filename of the Final Cut project, that name got embedded in the metadata file that was sent to The Escapist. This also happened with Men Easter.
- This video references the fictional show "Fill This Man with Cream", introduced in The Crazy One.
