West Sump Acres is opening a new sluice, and Melody Yum will be on hand to cut the fanbelt. Geyserwatch 2016 continues, it hasn't skipped a year since 1928.
Let's go to the Phones
It's Lorna Schlitzwhistle. She claim that the spirits that are in the homes that changed hands during the property lottery are confused because the people in the houses changed. They need healing energy in the form of interpretive dance and she offers to provide it, including to the spirit in Alex's metaphorical basement powder room.
There is a 3-car pileup on the on-ramp to the Shaughnessy. Alex and Graham are gobsmacked to have gotten actual traffic. Richter is livestreaming from the traffic Qwopter. This sends Alex to Michael's closet where he gets a bottle of 90 proof alcohol and become progressively more inebriated throughout the show.
Montgomery Cone is in the studio this time to report on the Winter Sideball Classic. He had to block Melody Yum 3 times and clotheslined a 11-year-old. The 5 moments of the match were:
5. I caught an elbow in the face, then I gave it right back
4. Drop-kicked one of those wooden linemen and his head came right off
3. The orange slices they served at the timeout
2. Watching Melody Yum nearly kick a man in half
1. Slipping into a fugue state and becoming one with Sideball
When it is mentioned that Montgomery was a substitute and only had to play one game, he suggests that the regular player "might have a problem with his brakes".
Live on Location
Derek is down at the town square where there is a development with the statue or Richard Therpston. They are adding the pelvis, so it is now from the waist down. Richard Therpston III is present to do the dedication. To prevent Brown Thrum infestation, what there is of the statue is covered in spikes; and to prevent it filling with water, it is filled with expanding foam.
