Synopsis

Because the Artists, as web cartoonists, will be asked to repeatedly sign merch or sketches at conventions or as Kickstarter rewards, this challenge puts their speed and consistency to the test. In order to put everyone on an even playing field, instead of signing their own names, the Artists are asked to recreate President Obama's, the legal ramifications of which concern some of them. They each have one thousand notecards and one hour to create as many acceptable signatures as possible. Good signatures earn one point and poor signatures earn minus one point. Erika Sadsad, Robert Khoo, Levin Sadsad, and Josh Price judge the signatures while vocally critiquing the work. Josh is particularly mean, provoking negative responses from the Artists. Several of the Artists begin to get passive aggressive, writing nasty comments on the signatures or deliberately doing poor work. Abby goes through far more of her cards than the other Artists, resulting in her having the most acceptable submissions, but once the negative points are taken into account, Katie is the only one with a positive score. She has to choose who goes up for elimination. While she decides, the Artists amuse themselves by turning Obama's signature into various cartoon characters. Katie says she is making her decision on who deserves to go on. She expresses admiration for Lexxy and Maki and claims she can't eliminate them. She tearfully embraces Abby and Tavis before they leave.
