Synopsis
Jalli gives Bontan a briefing, then the party leaves on a rescue mission to find Balia.
Plot Summary
The party approaches Avu Nihar’s destroyed stronghold and meet the same student that was working there as before, however she’s now an undead. She explains that after Bontan left again, a powerful elf spellcaster who looks a lot like Morra arrived and had an epic battle with Avu Nihar, and now she isn’t allowed to bother him until Nihar and the elf come back from their honeymoon. Morra realizes the elf was probably her mother and is horrified.
The student then explains that afterward, demons attacked the stronghold and captured Bontan’s cousin, who is apparently also an undead now and probably hasn’t had any brain puree for days, which means she’ll be turning into a mindless undead soon. The party tracks down where Bontan’s cousin is being held and barely manages to defeat the Giggle Demon that is guarding her. She then explains who was at the stronghold commanding the demons, and the party realizes it was the Sage’s assistant at the Semolo Plateau, Bebo.
