Synopsis
Snak is reunited with his tribe, and Morra tortures an innocent creature.
Plot Summary
Snak is welcomed with dancing, a group hug, and an embarrassing song back into his tribe. The Queen of his tribe announces that despite not doing any of the work, she is going to give Snak a portion of the profits the tribe got from farming poison in a humane way from Malfansa lizards, which after paying Armdo and his crew comes to 310 gold. However, the chest they were storing this gold has a strip of cloth that Morra identifies as having come from her mother’s cloak, and when pressed about it the Battiri Queen explains that it was delivered to them by a winged skeleton that Bontan recognizes as coming from Avu Nihar’s stronghold.
Morra then goes to the Dragonborn that gave her the job of rescuing the lizards in the first place, who gives her 500 gold and an offer for an addition 5000 gold if she can manage to stop the Semolo Plateau from ever producing the poison again.
After an incident where Morra accidentally summons a magma golem and has to be escorted outside the city walls, the party decides they need to find out both what’s going on with Avu Nihar and what was going on at the Plateau right before they left. They hire Armdo and his crew to take them again, and they arrive at a now mostly destroyed stronghold.
