At some point later in 2019, there may be stuff to do in Fallout 76.

  • Overwatch Pro League team The Houston Outlaws have changed their official Season 2 slogan and hashtag less than 3 weeks after unveiling it because it was "Texas Hard". According to the team it comes from their ingame calls. When someone says "Texas", it's the code word for "Get on the point" and "Texas Hard" is code for "Get on the point right now". The problem of course came when the Houston Outlaws assumed their fans would use "Texas Hard" as a rallying cry, not as a euphemism for having a raging erection.
  • Reggie Fils-Aime is stepping down as President of Nintendo of America. He is being replaced by Doug Bowser
  • Bethesda has outlined it's 2019 roadmap for Fallout 76 with an extensive series of new modes, quests, and vault raids, all of which will be free. The spring update, called Wild Appalachia, will gradually roll out brewing and distilling, a survival PvP mode, vending machines, cameras, a legendary vendor, and 2 new quest lines starting on March 12. The summer's Nuclear Winter update promises a yet another mode called Nuclear Winter, and high level vault raids. And finally falls Wastelanders update will introduce new quest lines, factions, and public events.
  • There's been a lot of chatter about Solid Snakes Ass, again, thanks to his appearance in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. The develovers swapped out the tender rendering of Metal Gear Solid 2s Snake Ass with a flatter appearance which ignited the passions of the kind of people how like a good video game bum.

Coming Up

Pokemon GO players will soon be able to change their teams.
