Is the "Differences from Phailhaüs" section really necessary? Feed Dump has a lot of differences from Phailhaus... and all the section currently has is a mention that Feed Dump doesn't have a Word of the Day, which is kind of a pointless observation, and the "remains to be seen" isn't necessary because it's pretty clear it's not going to get one; the format's pretty well established. A "Similarities to Phailhaus" would be more useful, but honestly I'm not even sure it needs to be there at all. AlexanderDitto (talk) 12:30, 31 January 2013 (PST)

I've been thinking the same; I say remove it //MrL (talk) 08:38, 1 February 2013 (PST)
Good point. I’ve removed it. --jello ¿? 00:14, 14 February 2013 (PST)

Crediting Issues

I've watched all the episodes up to 190, adding the semantic mediawiki credits. There are some episodes when it's unclear if someone should be credited or not, or what they should be credited as. There's a few categories to consider.

Firstly, there's hosting. In Soldiers of Fortune, Jer takes over hosting during the episode, but Graham hosts for most of it, so I think Graham should be the host. In Dinosaurs, Paul does the "This Hat", as Graham leaves, but I think Graham should be Host, as he hosts for most of the episode. In Facebook Girlfriend, Graham starts off hosting, but Kathleen takes over for most of the episode, so I think she should be listed as Host. In Workplace Comp James is host for most of the episodes, but there is apparent confusion at the beginning about how hosting works, and Jer does the "This Hat". I think James should be host. In The Sweet Smell of Theft Paul wears the "Hat", but Alex says it, because Paul is being quiet, as he is doing "Thing on my Head". I think Paul is the host here. In The Gimp Man Rides Again Graham starts being the Host, but then Kathleen takes over. I think Kathleen is the host here. In I've Seen That Anime!, Cameron is briefly in the host's chair, but Kathleen is the host for most of the episode, so I think she should be host. Basically, I think whoever is the host for most of the episode should be listed as host.

There's also some inanimate "cohosts", and cats. Frosty Cardboard Marmite has A Cardboard Cutout of Vin Diesel and Creepy Doll as cohosts, as they are credited in the episode. The Vin Diesel cutout appears in other episodes that I also credit as cohost for consistency. Van Dump 2: Revengeance has Sir Isaac Mewton, who I've included in the credits section, as he is in the credits for the episode, but not included a link. Errant Teeth and Corpse Eviction has a Street Sharks character appear briefly, but isn't credited, so I haven't included it. As for the cats, Baxter is in We Are The Fat, and Annika in Toe Suckin' and Cat Screamin'. I think they should probably have a "With" credit, or something, and should probably have a smw link somewhere in the article so we can easily find when they appeared.

There's also some cameos that we need to decide on. Toe Suckin' and Cat Screamin' has a Kathleen cameo, that I've credited as cohost (she is credited as "And Kathleen..." in the episode. In Santa Drugs, Kathleen only appears at the beginning, but gets a "With" credit, so I've credited her as cohost. In Death Coaster Alex says "Hey" off-camera, as Kathleen has stolen Alex's hat for the "This Hat". I don't think that should count as a cohost appearance. Van Dump has Paul give terrible pun fouls, and is in the credits, so I've included him as cohost. In the next episode, Tyrannic Saurus Matt starts as Host due to continuity, but leaves when Graham appears. He gets a With credit, so I've included him as cohost. In Dakota & Madison Work Stuff Out James only appears at the beginning, but is credited, so I've included him. In Drugs, Mayors and Garbage is similar, and in Sunshine, Dildos, and Strangers Andrew Ferguson only appears partway through, but is credited, so I've included him as cohost. Penalty Calls has a bonus from the previous episode, which I don't think counts as part of the episode for host and cohost credits. Similar the kickstarter commercial in Firefighters, Drunk Pigs and UFOs. The Resistor has Kathleen say "Oh really Matthew" from home in response to Matt, which I haven't credited, but I think could be. My approach I think is to include anyone as cohost or host if they are in the credits, and give them an Uncredited credit (an AppearanceBy), if they appear on camera and talk in the episode proper, or the stinger.

Also, should Evil Alex and Evil Serge have a separate listing in the credit. We could create a redirect, but I think we should probably just link to Alex and Serge, and just include evil Alex in the text, without a link. Also, I've created a redirect 'Brendan "Beej" Dery' to use in the article, which redirects to Beej's article. You can then do a semantic search using the redirect. • The Feed Dumps Sorted by Host page uses this page as its data source, and if Evil Alex and Evil Serge link to just alex and serge, the evil versions will disappear from the generated page. I say link them to Evil Alex and Evil Serge, maybe we should create a page for evil serge though? -- Zaz (talk) 01:22, 19 October 2015 (PDT)
