The Penny Arcade Expo (often abbreviated PAX) is an annual gaming convention created by Mike Krahulik and Jerry Holkins of Penny-Arcade. It focuses on gaming as a whole rather than strictly video games. PAX premiered in Seattle in 2004, with a sister convention on the East Coast called PAX East introduced in 2010 (the west coast PAX now called PAX Prime).

Members of LoadingReadyRun has attended most PAX conventions since 2008. The full crew attended the first PAX East in 2010.
