This ongoing skit from the Rapidfire series features a newscast that's having some trouble with the audio equipment. Each skit begins with Brian Evans (Geoffrey Tomlinson-Hood), the anchor from Slow News Day, introducing Action 9 News' on location reporter Steve Clark (Graham). Steve's broadcast has key words rendered unintelligible due to bursts of static that turn an otherwise mundane broadcast into an obscene Mad Lib.
