- Some enterprising Mario Odyssey players have installed custom firmware on their Switch, downloaded a leaked app called Dev Menu, used it to make their Nintendo account avatar some for of smut, and then gone into Mario Odyssey's Luigi's Balloon World, where you avatar is textured onto the balloon, and riddled New Donk City with floating wienies.
- Thunder Predator, a Brazilian DotA2 team, has been disqualified from the South American qualifiers for The International. One of their players was using macros mapped to his mouse to activate Meepo's Poof ability. Basically the Esports version of doping.
- Bethesda is suing Warner Brothers over similarities between the Westworld mobile game and Bethesda's own Fallout Shelter. Both games were made by Behaviour Interactive, who Bethesda are also suing. Bethesda is accusing the two of using proprietary marketing demographics and data, which should not have been shared, and using the same source code as Fallout Shelter, which Bethesda owns, as they noticed bugs in the Westworld game that were the same as pre-release bugs in Fallout Shelter
